Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board - Special Budget Meeting

It is recommended that the Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board enacts as follows: That the agenda for the Board meeting held on January 14, 2025 be approved, including any items added to the Agenda.

It is recommended that the Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board enacts as follows: That the minutes of the Board meeting held on November 18, 2024 be approved.

MOTION: Be It Resolved That the Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board approve draft of the 2025 budget as presented.  That the 2025 Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library draft budget was preliminarily approved. The 2025 draft budget will be passed with recommended changes the Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board has requested, with a slight increase in Conference and Training line to reflect Acting CEO's enrollment in Advancing Public Library Leadership program, with allocated funds to be available for other staff training. Questions arose on the benefit costing family plan cost versus single plan cost, and pay equity reviews. Modified budget to be completed by January 22, before Alnwick/Haldimad Council budget meeting on Monday, January 27.

MOTION: Be It Resolved that the Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board recommend Acting CEO, T. Dunk, be enrolled into the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand benefit plan and a single hourly CEO rate.

It is recommended that the Alnwick/Haldimand Public Library Board enacts as follows: That the Board meeting held on January 14, 2025 be adjourned at 8:55 pm.
