Council Meeting

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That the agenda for the Regular Council meeting held on July 8, 2025 be approved.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That Council receives Report PW-2025-11: Vehicle Tender Award – One-Ton Truck Replacement for information; and That staff be authorized to award the tender for the One-Ton Truck Replacement to Quantrill Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd, a value of $79,799.00 excluding HST; and That a by-law be brought forward for Council consideration to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement with Quantrill Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd. for the purchase of a One-Ton Truck Replacement.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That Council receives Report PW-2025-12: Line Painting Tender Award T-04-2025 for information; and That staff be authorized to award Tender T-04-2025: Line Painting 2025 to Apex Pavement Markings Inc., a value of $51,670.00 plus HST; and That $6,670.00 plus HST be authorized to be drawn from the Public Works Departmental Reserve for line painting in 2025; and That a by-law be brought forward for Council consideration to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement with Apex Pavement Markings Inc. for completion of the 2025 Line Painting.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That staff be directed to request the West Northumberland Physician Recruitment and Retention Board Chair provide to Council:  a report on the future of the Board, including a formal Board resolution requesting to dissolve and timelines, if applicable; and  a financial report, including current year operating and reserve amounts.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That Council receives Report CAO-2025-20: Finance Department Review and Interim Treasurer Assistance - RFP Award for information; and That staff be authorized to award Tender RFP-03-2025: Finance Department Review and Interim Treasurer Assistance to MNP, a value of $88,000 plus HST; and That a by-law be brought forward for Council consideration to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement with MNP for a Finance Department Review and Interim Treasurer Assistance.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That By-law #53-2025 being a by-law to Appoint a Deputy Clerk be given a first, second and third reading and finally passed this 8th day of July, 2025.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That By-law #56-2025 being a by-law to Execute an Agreement with Apex Pavement Markings Inc. for 2025 Line Painting be given a first, second and third reading and finally passed this 8th day of July, 2025.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That By-law #58-2025 being a by-law to execute an agreement with MNP for a Finance Department Review and Interim Treasurer Assistance be given a first, second and third reading and finally passed this 8th day of July, 2025.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That agenda items 14.2 and 14.4 of the July 8, 2025 Regular Council meeting be received for information.

The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand enacts as follows: That By-law #59-2025 being a by-law to adopt the proceedings of the Regular Council Meeting held on the July 8, 2025 and to authorize its execution be given a first, second and third reading and finally passed this 8th day of July, 2025.
